My name is Melvin Gonzalez. At the age of 7, I started sailing with my parents in a Cal 25. In 1981, I sailed my first international regatta in a J30, at the Rolex Cup in ST Thomas, VI. After that I kept sailing multiple boats including the Sunfish during my youth years, was part of team Abracadabra in Hawaii in 2000 for the America’s cup, and eventually sailed J24 for 30 years. Some of my bigger achievements include Bronze, Silver, and Gold at the Central American and Caribbean Games.Best Results
